There's something very compelling about Amazon S3 and EC2 (ie storage and servers on demand). The costs are lower or on par what you'd pay for your own boxes, and you don't have to commit upfront cash. Smugmug are storing 300TB..read about it

great mac os x backup or disk clone program - free for basic version (which will happily backup or make an image - over the network too).

transparent cloud storage - you can mount this as a drive letter and save to it as you would with local / network storage (except it's slower of course). Great pricing - 20GB works out to about $3.40 a month.
