Ok - this is pretty cool. PandoraFM is a sanctioned mashup of last.fm and Pandora which uses your most listened to artists in last.fm to seed the creation of radio stations in Pandora, and then submits tracks that Pandora throws out back into your last.fm profile. Or at least it's supposed to - I'm not getting the tracks showing up in my last.fm profile. Could be last.fm, which has been known to have submission problems from time to time.
Sweet idea - I guess I should do a listen-off between the last.fm player (aggregation) and Pandora (experts).

Cool -thank you! I see the 'Last Week I Mostly...' thing on the side, that is very cool! I've not heard elbow or The Kooks, but I really like the other 3 of your top 5... I'll have to check them out!
It seems we have similar tastes in music!
So do you think listening to Marvin Gaye (one of my favs) and Razorlight screws up these services? I mean, that would seem like an odd combination, right? I love both of them, but on the surface it seems odd, huh? ;-)

No probs - glad to help (and you should definitely check out Elbow).
And no, I don't think that different types of music screws up the recommendation process - check out your last.fm dashboard and see how all your most listened to weights on the recommendation process.
And looking at my last.fm profile, my favourite artists are Radiohead, REM and The Libertines, although I'd say that Radiohead and REM are in my top 3, and the 3rd is constantly changing !
