Blogging4Business - Podcasting

Lloyd Davis of Perfect Path talking about podcasting. Had a quick coffee conversation in the break and Lloyd was talking about working with theatre companies to do a multi-channel thing - audio, video and text blogging - and for me that was an eye opener - one of the few uses of audio and video blogging that makes sense to me. Nick Mailer (Positive Internet) throws out some mighty numbers collected from the Ricky Gervais podcasting experience. I keep thinking "Yeah but it's Ricky Gervais, and iTunes - over a billion songs downloaded...why wouldn't it be a success". God, I'm such a negative podcasting curmudgeon. "People love the sound of their own voice"... No one has mentioned Channel9 yet - surely the poster child for doing videoblogged/podcasted interviews...exposing internal groups to your external (and probably internal as well) audiences.
