Learning, eLearning and Learning Management Systems.

I've been looking into eLearning recently, trying to get up to some kind of speed [as a result of a possible client engagement]. Lots of interesting stuff out there, especially some of the Open Source Learning Management Systems [LMS], such as Moodle, and dotLRN. They look fairly impressive, and make me wonder, as someone doesn't have much erperience in this field, what the expensive proprietary systems are offering that would cause people to pay more.

Anyway, all that just to introduce this nice link, via OLDaily - proceedings from the Networked Learning Conference 2004, held at Lancaster University, England, UK, April 5-7, 2004. Lots and lots of interesting material here.
